Givenchy hires the first transgender supermodel.

''GIVENCHY has cast transgender model Lea T as one of its new model faces. Born Leandro Cerezo, the 28-year-old stars in the label's new campaign alongside top models Mariacarla Boscono, Malgosia Bela and Joan Smalls.(....) The model is currently undergoing hormone replacement therapy ahead of a full sex change. Tisci originally hired Lea as his assistant using her as his fit model behind-the-scenes at the luxury label.
"One night he encouraged me to wear pumps to a party," she said to French Vogue. "We went shopping for 'drag queen' shoes and we bleached my eyebrows. It was a revelation."(...) ''
